I have this planner with these absolutely ridiculous pages with like “motivational” quotes on them that are just these bullshit things like “Let your heart sing” and “Always believe in your dreams”
and like that’s always struck me as such meaningless bullshit, I’ve always hated those. They’ve never had that element that truly motivates me.
So, I took matters into my own hands and I made my own artsy motivational wallpapers. Enjoy.
have i seriously lived long enough to experience the resurgence of demotivational posters’s natural evolution into shitposting motivationals
This is actually weirdly inspiring. All those cheesy “keep calm and carry on” motivational images always feel a bit empty. But doing something out of pure, furious spite is so empowering.
I’m convinced that there are little internet goblins that sneak in and misspell things in stories after you post them. You’ve read it over a hundred times, other people have read it, you post it with confidence and suddenly POOF.
An error.
Has to be goblins. Misspelling Goblins, a Treasure Goblin’s little known and much poorer cousin.
Not everyone will like your moodboards/edits/vids. Make more.
Pursue your craft because it makes you happy, and just know that there are people out there who adore everything you create and can’t wait for more. And there are fans that haven’t found you yet, but your content will change their life.
sometimes when someone comments on your fanfic, it’s like those randomly-occurring emergency heal spells that bring you back up to full health when you’re about to die. like i was struggling to write today but someone out of nowhere left a comment and HELLO! THANK YOU! i am back and a writer again.
