oh the secrets that we keep…

My heart. Argh! I love this AU so much. And I am so on board with Edge being the taller one here. Just look at them! T-T The scene is gorgeous. I’m actually a little lost for words. This just took my breath away. Thank you for supplying us with this AU, Bourbon. I’m in love with it.

I’m freaking out over this! Your backgrounds are incredible. I love the subtle blend of red and yellow you’ve used in the scenery, surrounding the gorgeous skeleton centrepiece. Also, seeing Village AU Edge with his mask on is equal parts terrifying and exciting. (And his soft boi, Rus. Precious. <3)

Cultural Norms – Village AU

dragonfics:

A small fic based on @cheapbourbon‘s awesome Village AU. Check out some of their headcanons here and some of their art here.

If you’re interested in this AU, I’d also recommend taking a look at @askellie‘s fic for it here and @sansy-fresh‘s fic here.

Summary:
Curiosity had led him this deep into the woods—he may as well satisfy it, since he was still alive.
The Villagers say the creatures who lurk in the forest are savages, beasts, monsters–draped in red cloth. Red. The colour of danger. The forbidden colour.
Then again, what do the Villagers know?

Dried Venison

sansy-fresh:

So @cheapbourbon made a fucking brilliant AU based of the wonderful M. Night Shyamalan movie The Village (anyone that doesn’t like it can fite me), and I just had to write a little thing for it.

Go look at the art bourbon did and if you’re of age go read the thing Askellie wrote for it, they’re so much better than this.

Good headcanon, Fresh!!

God, I love this AU too. This was an awesome piece. These two are so adorable, and the language barrier just makes it even more delightful to read. Lovely work.
