Finally frikking done! This is one of the pics from those wips I posted not that long ago, and I put way too much effort into this when I hadn’t planned to, it was just supposed to be something quick but here we are a couple of weeks later after I first sketched it up xD I just had a need a couple of weeks ago to draw him wearing one of those big tunics shirts thingies and a scarf, and so I did and this turned out pretty good I have to say!
Especially happy with the shirt itself and the hat, which I actually own myself it’s on my head this very moment, had to take it off to use as a reference as I was colouring it, really like how it turned out though it could be a bit brighter, the scarf could had turned out better but since I just used a random image of some uh… fuck what is it called again, plaid fucking plaid is the name! because drawing it from scratch is such a god damn pain! the scarf is supposed to be one of those palestina scarves or whatever they are called, the “emo” scarves though I skipped to put those end thingies, the braids tassels thingies as I just couldn’t be bothered and because it would had taken even longer to finish it so I decided to skip it! Not so happy with those leggings tho they could look better too and I had to redraw those hands from scratch on SAI tho, as I couldn’t figure out how I had drawn them on my sketch and I am still a bit unhappy with them, like do you even hold your phone like that?? I dunno too late now it is done and I am happy with his pic!
Also I just want to mention before someone might come and point it out that I know this pic looks hella similar to THIS pic by theslowestnery who I am not going to tag as I don’t want to disturb them about this etc, but I had made the sketch for my pic a couple of days before they even posted it so I did not take their idea or anything like that! just a frikking coincidence that the two of us ended up drawing two very similar pics is all xD
Time for more random sketches with ships that I really love, this time for swap papgore! which is one of my faves, though like most of the ships I like are my faves tho haha xD Anyhow, here I will present to you all my swap Asgore, who currently have the nickname of Fluffy, because his hair is extremely curly and fluffy you can get frikking lost in there! I actually ended up designing him just so that I could draw these, and I gotta say I am very happy with how he looks like! will try to scan in and colour his ref pics sometime, after all my other refs of my takes on all them other characters I have drawn that is pfft
Anyhow I like how these turned out, they are hella cute! just some anatomy here and there that turned out faulty, like Fluffy should be a bit bigger at the lower one but the page ended like frikking always so not much I can change about that now, I really like Fluffy’s hand in the second one tho, the one he is grabbing Stretch’s arm with, like how his face and hair turned out too in both, I think Fluffy might need to get a bit taller tho, as currently he is the same height as UT Asgore which is 8’6 aka 259 cm without the horns, just a little tho like maybe 8’8 aka 264 cm, so that he is even taller than Stretch who is 7’3 aka 221 cm while not slouching, not sure yet tho
And what did Stretch accidently say outloud? well… either daddy or how he would like to get smothered in Fluffy’s hair pfft

So randomly decided to try out coluring stuff in SAI, I usually colour stuff in this shit old photoshop I have, and I have to admit it ended up looking better than I thought it would be! still will prolly not make colouring things in sai a habit as those pencils and stuff is just not working for me xD
Anyhow, this was kinda fun to do tho, it was just hella weird not to be able to use the usual brushed and stuff that I usually use, and that I couldn’t find the damn smudge tool, which I think was what bothered me most kinda, as I use it hella often when I go lineless and stuff, or well just use it all the time when I think of it pfft, the first one is the original with no filters, the second one I used some filters which I think made it look a bit better, still like how it turned out even though at the same time still a bit unhappy due for not been able to colour how I usually do, but it was fun so ye
It looks good! You picked one of my favorite color schemes, so that’s a bonus XD
Going lineless is tough. I find it relaxing in some parts and …not so much in others. Its quite the learning curve. In SAI the smudge/blending tool is traditionally the watercolor brush. Although there is such a thing as a blender brush. I can share my settings for it if you ever want to try it again.
