Oh my, this is very nice. I love how you use colours to depict emotion in your pieces. Swap Pap is is… not so nice in this AU, but you have to love him (and oh boy, I most certainly do). This is stunning.

So I’m outing myself as this anon who was desperately curious about @cheapbourbon‘s SpicyHoney VillageAU…and I was not disappointed by the delicious headcanons and ideas they came up with and suddenly 3000 words later there was a new fic on my hands. Oops.

Total credit for the idea and most of the set-up goes to the wonderful @cheapbourbon. ❤ Thanks for sharing your brilliant art with us, bb.

Content Warnings: Total AU based on the movie ‘The Village’. Potential future SpicyHoney, horror and macabre themes. Injury/concussion. Non-graphic animal murder.

Spirit grows when love goes away
And I’m still thinking of new ways to say
“I miss you”

Oh, goodness, I barely have words for this.

I love the colours here, and how you’re able to portray the intimacy and closeness between them in such a simple way. Edge’s expression–and the way Rus has his face buried against Edge–just says so much. This is brilliant, Bourbon.
