someother-weather:

…so,

there is a perfectly logical explanation for this, and it’s this:

i work in a pet store, and spend an ungodly amount of time staring at fish,

to the point where i have entire ichthyological moodboards for fictional characters in my head

…trust me, in person it really, really looks like stretch

aNyways thanks for the support everyone, sorry that my first drawing in forever is a dash-consuming shitpost? ive abandoned and rescued this comic so much you can actually kinda see my art change over time, wild.

(if you’re interested in the fish which i failed to do proper justice, it’s an albino senegal bichir, or albino senegalus eel, or albino dinosaur eel, the first name being the most accurate. i couldn’t find good photo reference online, and ended up snapping pics of the ones in our own store, which are lil babies only a couple inches long. they’re not as twisty-flowy as i drew them, they just cruise along very slowly and lazily sink and rise. i like hand-feeding them bloodworms, they munch on them very cutely <3)

(…this isnt the last fish comic you’ll see from me, sorry)

This made my heart soar. Both warming and delightfully amusing. I’m still laughing.

Ficlet: Denim Blue

keelywolfe:

Summary: A fashion plate, Stretch is not, but he still manages to look good.

Notes: I think the thing I miss most about characters who are skeletons is getting to wax poetically about their backsides. That’s okay, they can still look good in jeans. Long week coming up at work so I wanted to offer something sweet and fun in contrast to yesterday’s short. Enjoy!

I’m here for skeletons in skinny jeans. This was delicious.
