I only recently got around to reading this addition to the “by any other name” series–and I highly recommend it! Just a quick glance into the everyday, domestic lives of the Spicyhoney boys. It’s very sweet, with an undercurrent of sad. Awesome fic.
Damn it, man! Amazing art to go with two amazing ficlets. This really captures the emotion of both stories. In the first one in particular, I really love the way the sun is glowing off Stretch in the background. Absolutely stunning.

How I feel:
I love this boy. Unreservedly. He has none of the salt or troubles his Typical counterpart has. He’s got his troubles and his painful history, and it just makes we want to bundle him up and cuddle him.
Who I ship:
The hoard! I love him with all of them. Especially with Edge…and Cash. Because I do love some sweet, sweet conflict. Fluffy ships don’t always work for me. I need some conflict and/or some angst. And the Cash/Rus dynamic definitely provides the former. (Rus himself provides the latter.)
BroTP:
Pup. He’s close with all of them, but he’s protective of Pup in a way he isn’t with the others.
Unpopular opinion:
He feels very different than Typical Rus, even if their characterizations are largely similar. I couldn’t tell you why, really, but…he just does.
I actually really like him when he gets more aggressive and shows his more demonic side. He’s usually a soft, sweet boy. But don’t give him a reason to fuck you up.
Ideas I want to explore:
His relationship with Cash. I’m dying to explore that.
Oh dude. I am dying for that sweet, sweet, not so sweet Siren/Sex demon content. Atypical Rus is such a good boy. I’m very excited to see your plans for him actualised. ^_^
Okay, this is just for Typical Rus, because this got long. I’ll make another post for Atypical Rus.
How I feel:
Ooh. Took me a long time to like this boy. Because he’s kind of an asshole, and he doesn’t dven have a Fell-verse excuse. And I had a lot of fandom salt because he was always the one used as a foil for Edge. Always the “perfect” bro/lover for Red, in comparison to the abusive edgelord. Despite often being an asshole himself.
He’s still not as interesting to me as the Fell boys—which is true of the Tale-verses in general—but I’m coming to appreciate him more and more. The thing is, he is a good foil for Edge—but he doesn’t have to be the pure good beanpole, and Edge doesn’t have to be the bad guy. They’re very different, but they’re complimentary.
So. I guess I’m saying I like him because of the way he relates to Edge.
Who I ship:
Edge. I don’t think I really like him with anyone else. Tale-verse/Tale-verse doesn’t do much for me, and neither does Lazy/Lazy. That really only leaves Twist and Razz. I like him with Twist? But not as much as I like Spicyhoney. (I can really say the same for Cash and Slim.)
And I do not like him with Razz. That’s a bit of a NoTP for me, unless you want to make it noncon. I’m down for most noncon with him, frankly.
BroTP:
Red. I’m not really big on romantic Honeymustard, but platonic is lovely.
Unpopular opinion:
…I don’t really like the “Sans but tall” characterization. He’s his own character, his own person, and I like to see that explored.
Ideas I want to explore:
Soul stuff with Edge. I’m itching to explore that. And I have a really awful, awful preg horror Papgore fic I want to explore with him. Probably gonna post in October because it is dark af.

I’m freaking out over this! Your backgrounds are incredible. I love the subtle blend of red and yellow you’ve used in the scenery, surrounding the gorgeous skeleton centrepiece. Also, seeing Village AU Edge with his mask on is equal parts terrifying and exciting. (And his soft boi, Rus. Precious. <3)
