Rain against the windshield. The gentle roaring
of the engine. Wheels against a wet road, and sunshine which warmed through the
clouds. A perfect day. And Fell would have enjoyed it. He would have. If he
hadnât been in the passengerâs seat of his own car, a blindfold over his eyes
and with Twist, of all people, behind the wheel. Unable to help himself, he
fiddled with the end of his scarf. It was a nervous habit heâd never managed to
get rid of. His soul pounded in his ears. It wasnât that he didnât trust Twist-
Oh, who was he kidding. He loved Twist with all his soul but the other was a
madman. A well-meaning one, but a madman nonetheless.
He squirmed in his seat, letting out a
huffing breath. Twist hadnât wanted to tell him where they were going. When it
started to rain, heâd simply ushered him into the car and asked if he could
blindfold him. With how eager he seemed, Fell hadnât had had the heart to say
no despite how uneasy it made him not to be able to see.
âYa ok, sweetheart?â Twist asked, as on
que. He did sound concerned, but was apparently unable to keep the glee out of
his voice. A warm hand grabbed Fellâs, squeezing it for a moment before letting
go. It was a requirement for anyone who wanted to drive his car â donât let go
off the wheel or gear lever for long. Not even to hold your anxious boyfriendâs
hand.
âIâm fine,â he grunted out, even as his
fingers itched to rip the blindfold off. He could, he knew that. Whenever he
wanted. Twist would never restrain him in any way without making it easy to get
out. The other hummed a little, and for a brief second a hand stroked his
zygomatic bone before it disappeared again. Fell let out a little sigh. The
corner of his mouth tugged upwards. âI am,
Twist.â
âGood, âcause weâre âere.â
The car suddenly stopped, making Fell jerk
forward in his seat. Luckily the seatbelt stopped him before he could hit his
head on something. He let out a small gasp in surprise. He could hear Twist get
out of the car, and the door close behind him with a thump. After taking off the seatbelt, Fell made a move to attempt
to get out as well. Before he could, however, his door opened and a quick kiss
was pressed onto his skull.
âCâmere, Edgelord, I wanna show ya somethinâ.â
Already, Fell could feel the rain on his bones. It was pleasantly warm, so he
didnât mind. Allowing Twist to drag him onto his feet, he took a few tentative
steps after the other, and the car door was thrown closed. The rain poured
down. Already his clothing felt heavy. Yet, he followed as Twist led him by his
hand. Wet grass splashed under his boots as he walked and he could hear
something that roared.
Less than a minute later, they stopped.
Twist sounded almost breathless when he asked, âYa ready?â
âAlways,â Fell replied without hesitating. He
couldnât wait to get this blindfold off. Plus, he admitted, he was curious what
the other had dragged him here for. Nimble fingers caressed his skull before
the blindfold was pulled off. He blinked against the sudden assault of light
and colour. Above the tree crowns, the clouds had disappeared, leaving a
pastel-painted sky as dusk neared. Above them, however, grey clouds still
poured rain, which fell into the blue-grey river in front of them. He blinked. âA
river?â
âNot thâ river, love!â Twistâs one
eyelight was shining, and he grinned. When he threw an arm over Fellâs
shoulders, he couldnât help but lean into it. The other pointed along the
river, and his eyes followed. When he saw it, he gasped. A waterfall, a couple
meters high. That was where the roaring came from. The water was sparkling. And
from it, continuing into the rain, rose a bright rainbow.
Twisting around to follow it, he saw how it
went just above them straight into the sky, shimmering. There it disappeared in
the clouds. Ever since they came to the Surface, he hadnât seen such a colourful
rainbow before. Fell couldnât help it. He gaped.
Twist sounded almost anxious when he spoke
again, âDo ya like ât? A lovely olâ lady aâ thâ garage told me âbout ât anâ I
thou-â
âItâs beautiful,â Fell interrupted him,
recognizing the beginning of nervous explanations. He managed to tear his eyes
away, turning to Twist instead. He grabbed the otherâs hand, squeezing it. The
sunlight from the horizon washed over them through the rainbow. Smiling, he
used his other hand to firmly grasp Twistâs mandible and bring their teeth
together. The other let out a surprised huff, but immediately returned the
kiss, chuckling into it. Once they parted, he didnât let Twistâs hand go as he
turned to watch the waterfall and rainbow again. His chest felt warm, and he
couldnât help how his smile grew even bigger. âI love it. And I love you. Thank
you for taking me here.â
Thank you for blessing my dash with this. Your art never fails to trigger some really deep emotions in me. And even if youâre not completely happy with it at the moment, just know that it always makes me smile. I love seeing it.
Fanart for @itsladykit âs âAtypicalâ series which stole my freakinâ heart!!!
I cannot get over how beautiful this is!!! I love their expressionsâTwist looks so happy, and Pupâs wagging tail!!âand their designs. This is such a lovely style. Thank you so much! This is positively delightful!
Again, another outfit from this drawing meme tho i changed the colours so it could fit better for this badass a-hole right here
I think Iâm starting to find my own style about drawing bones, or just the skele boys in general (although for sone reason drawing a papyrus is way easier)
Mun: THATâS HER YES! Awww. Such a cute little kitty. The one with Edge is the best I think. He looks so angry and all but the cat doesnât seem fazed. Because she knows he wonât hurt her. Ahhhh⊠so cute. So lovely. Your art style is really something, my dear.
Summary:Â Edge had spent years thinking about that nightâtrying so hard to remember the details that were just out of his grasp. Wonderingâhow? Why? Trying to recall the face of the creature that had killed his brother saved him. And here it was. Right before him. Offering him all the answers heâd craved for so many years.
Demons do make for excellent company after all.

Despite some of those tags, this will be pretty lighthearted. Just some good old Spicyhoney fluff revolving around the conversations between Edge and his demon.
