This was so beautifully written—but dear god, it hurt. This is one of my favourite kinds of Spicyhoney pain, but it’s just…. really difficult. Wow. Go read this if you haven’t—seriously, it’s worth it.
“Are you cold?” Fell stepped down the first stair, a large quilt in his hands. Honey simply stared off into the distance, arms wrapped around his knees, tucked into his chest. Pushing away his worry, Fell gently wrapped the quilt around Honey’s shoulders, pulling it close over his chest and tucking it in firmly.
Sitting down beside him, Fell ignored the cold of the concrete that seeped into his thin night pants. Honey was still shivering, teeth chattering gently. Sighing, Fell slowly moved over, putting his arm around Honey’s shoulders and pulling him close as the tears began to fall.
“Its alright. Its okay to cry, I’m right here.” As Honey began to sob, Fell pulled him ever closer. He wasn’t going anywhere.
Aw! It’s actually kind of perfect that you drew Incubus Stretch and Vampire Edge—Atypical was originally based on the Spicyhoney Vampire/Succubus AU created by @tsukasazushi (I think?). I’m on mobile, or I’d link some of their drawings. @cheapbourbon is the one that introduced me to the AU, and their ExpensiveSpicyHoneyDog art is what inspired me to include more of the Papyrus-es.
So this is entirely appropriate and absolutely gorgeous! Your art is always so lovely—I really adore your style—and knowing I’ve inspired this piece made my day. ^_^
