So @cheapbourbon made a fucking brilliant AU based of the wonderful M. Night Shyamalan movie The Village (anyone that doesn’t like it can fite me), and I just had to write a little thing for it.
Go look at the art bourbon did and if you’re of age go read the thing Askellie wrote for it, they’re so much better than this.

God, I love this AU too. This was an awesome piece. These two are so adorable, and the language barrier just makes it even more delightful to read. Lovely work.
if you arent reading night argents already, go dew eet
fic cover thing or whatever for @alicedragons XD enjoy
O.O O.O O.O :OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Painty.
I can’t even come up with words for this right now. >o< I’m in awe. For one, it’s fucking gorgeous. You have such a beautiful style, and I always love seeing the Spicyhoney boys in it. And for another, you just captured them exquisitely! This is how I picture them when I write them–and I’m amazed at how well you did it, because I’m terrible at physical descriptions of characters lol.
Edge, armoured up, perfect posture, knife poised, ready for a fight–and hot af. Rus, no armour (because he does not understand how the Fell worlds work), light clothing because stealth is his best weapon, slouched and nervous–sexy as hell. I love how you did his eyes. That’s exactly the colour I aim for with him. My normal Rus is paler gold, while Argent Night Rus has that red tinge of hunger.
>_< Painty this is amazing. Thank you so much. I’m incredibly flattered that you took the time to do this. It turned out beautifully and I’m so grateful for its existence!
Based on an idea from @cheapbourbon. I didn’t go quite as deep into the angst bucket as their prompt did, but I stuck to the hurt/comfort theme. Basically: Rus is a very depressed boy and really needs Edge to be there for him on some days.
Summary:
There are days when Rus is fine. Functional. Days he can manage. Days he can hold himself together.
This is just gorgeous. Holy fuck. I can’t even adequately express the emotions this is making me feel.
That expression on Rus’s face really captures the essence of depression. He just looks so tired and despairing. He’s used to it, but it doesn’t make it any less difficult. He just. Can’t.
And then—Edge. Holding him and cherishing him and loving him unconditionally. He doesn’t ask him what’s wrong, doesn’t force him to talk, doesn’t even try and make him ‘feel better’. He just… holds him and lets him know that he loves him.
I’m genuinely in tears, I’m doing a terrible job of conveying how much I love this. I’m so glad they have each other. Fuck. Thank you, Bourbon. This really tugged on my heartstrings.
Summary: Possession is nine-tenths of the law: an expression meaning that ownership is easier to maintain if one has possession of something or difficult to enforce if one does not.
Notes:
Every year at Mediawest Con, I sit in the very back of the art show and write porn. The show takes about two hours and it’s a little challenge I run with myself. This story is this year’s offering. Enjoy!
Warnings: Just in case anyone doesn’t notice the ones on AO3. This story is EXPLICIT and it contains; rough sex, jealousy, infidelity, and possessive behavior. If that’s not your flavor of soup, head on back to the salad bar.
music meme thing…. @itsladykit tagged me. I don’t normally draw with music on actually. I live life to music. but I draw to white noise things such as this. music carries too much emotion and messes me up.
anyways…
