Okay, so I
am generally only articulate in fiction so this is going to wander all over the
place.

I’ve been
writing smut for a long time, it’s kinda my thing, and I’m guessing I have a
distinct enough style which tends to be a rambling stream of consciousness sort
of sex scene, LOL! Edge’s POV would always be stiffer, a little more formal,
losing control as things progress and Stretch would be lazier and even more rambling
than normal. It’s easier for him to let go entirely and immerse himself in it
whereas Edge struggles to let go of control in all situations.

Headcanons,
yes, if I can explain them in any meaningful way. This is probably more for the Slowing Your Roll universe, where their relationship is less trusting.

I tend to
write what I want to read. I like Edge as the penetrating partner and Stretch
as the receptive one. Nothing at all to do with any sort of power dynamic, it’s
just what I like and how I see them.

‘Control
issues’ isn’t just a nickname for Edge. He has serious issues with control due
to living in Underfell where control is everything, and not just in terms of
who is in charge. Monsters with LV have to have control because losing their temper could have very poor results. It’s
a rough world but there are grudging alliances and loyalties, and a lack of
control could destroy something that took years to build in a moment. Sex would
be difficult for him to enjoy if he wasn’t in control, he wouldn’t be able to
relax.

Edge has only had two lovers, aside from Stretch, and one was female,
so while he’s not inexperienced, he’s nothing like Stretch’s level. He’s never
bottomed, never so much as masturbated with his cunt. He’s not sure if he could
like it, there’s been no one he’s trusted enough to try it with (yet).
Again, it’s about control. I’m not at all implying that the receptive partner
is weaker or can’t be dominant but again, this is what he knows and it’s
reflected in his experience. It would also be difficult for him to
accept someone on top of him in any situation.  

Stretch on the other hand, doesn’t give a shit. He just likes
sex. He’s pretty easy for it and up for about anything. Being held down? Sure,
why not, it’s not like he can’t get out of it if he really wanted to. He’s
content to let someone else do the heavy lifting. He has no preference for
bottom or top, which is why he tends to go with a combination of a cock and a
cunt. He’s stubborn as hell, though. He likes it and he doesn’t damn well need
to explain himself. 

I have a thing
for frottage, particularly clothed, and come-marking, so that tends to show up
in my smut. Not so much as blatant as coming on someone’s face, although I
wouldn’t rule it out. Edge would always be the one who wants his come all over
Stretch and is satisfied to see it on him.  Messing him up and basking in it is a part of
the afterglow.

As for Stretch,
sure, mess him up. He’ll be snarky and sarcastic all the way, pretend it
doesn’t affect him for as long as he can, but he’s not going to say no. Hold
him down? Sure…but he might try to get loose. Collar him? Maybe…if you can get
him to hold still. He’s down for it but hey, there’s a little thrill in the
chase. But if he says no, it’s no, done and dusted. He’s not serious very often
but when he is, it’s a cold hard fact. He’ll proudly claim the title of slut
but don’t call him a whore. He has his reasons, if you could ever get a straight
answer from him. Good luck.

Whew. This
went on for a while. Oh, last thing. Edge didn’t used to wear boots with heels
until he met Stretch. It puts him at eye level with him and hey, he knows that
height isn’t everything, Red is more than capable of kicking ass, but damn it
if he doesn’t annoy him to see Stretch smirking down at him…

I love how the dynamic works out between these two with your headcanons. Edge needs control–but Stretch makes him fight for it. Edge has a very set way he approaches sex–while Stretch is open to virtually anything. These are awesome, thank you for sharing!
