4. “Name a popular ship you don’t get the appeal of.”

Okay, I know I technically answered this already (here), but I didn’t really go into detail. There is a lot of lovely Kustard fanart out there (and fics too!) but… it is a very popular ship, and I sort of never understood the hype? Plus, I’m a rebellious asshole who loves to deviate from the norm and act edgy. I personally can’t see them getting along with each other. They’d more be pals who made fun of each other (if that, I honestly think they’d hate each other lol). If I really tried to delve into them as a couple, I think I’d end up portraying them badly. They just don’t work in my mind.

9. “What ship represents the kind of relationship you’d love to have?

Ah, heh. Well, seeing as I’m aromantic, I guess I’d have to say one of the more belligerently sexual ships? Spicyhoney definitely comes to mind (I guess that may be why I like them so much), but Honeyvenom also sort of fits the bill. I can’t imagine Razz and Stretch ever being in a romantic relationship, so the idea of them sort of appeals to me.

Also… SpicyMaple. If you’ve ever read Catch These Hands by @ollie-oxen-free (sorry Ollie, you’re getting a shout out here whether you like it or not), that is just a great relationship to me. Two bros, beating each other up in the middle of nowhere? I strive for that.

16. “Is there a ship that made you realise something about yourself?”

Geez, Painty, hitting me with the personal questions tonight, are we? Hm. Well… I can’t place blame any one ship in particular, but writing in general has definitely helped me learn a bit more about myself. And, since 99% of what I write is Spicyhoney, I guess I can blame that ship for a lot of my self-discovery. (I also blame a lot of @itsladykit‘s writing. I love the way she does character interactions and platonic relationships.)

I do “shout outs” to divert attention away from myself when the personal questions come up.

Fuck you, Painty. From here.
