I wish this post didn’t even have to exist, but unfortunately my hand has been forced. Asking for help, especially with money has been something that has happened once before and it was hard then. It is definitely hard now but I have no other option. I try my best to keep personal/heavy posts off my blog to make it a safe space for everyone.
This is going to be a upsetting post and very long, so I will put a TLDR before the cut. And I apologize to those on mobile, Tumblr has not made a clear way to make cuts work on your phones.
TLDR: I am being tested for possible cardiovascular issues and for fibromyalgia. The price tag to even begin the process and not have anything wrong is over $1,000 . I need your help. If you can’t donate, please signal boost. I will appreciate it more than I can ever express.
Really though. As much as I adore commissions and whatnot, I’m dealing with medical issues and preparing for a wedding and a move to another country in a few months’ time. And while I do plan to still be active in fanfiction, I really want to begin my career as a novelist. If I can start this now and keep it going, I can make writing my full-time work after I move overseas.

So, I made a Patreon awhile ago but I never shared it. I always have difficulty asking for help financially but extra expenses and pursuing my transitioning has added up.
I’m not ready to move on from something that makes me very happy just because of something as common as money. The adult thing to do would be to get a job/start my business, but doing that would cause me to stop writing completely.

It seems like all the cool kids have a Ko-Fi account now lol, so I thought I might as well set one up seeing as I’ve now lost my job as of yesterday x’D Obviously I’m not asking anyone to donate, but if anyone decides to I would be very surprised and grateful.
So, I’m not entirely sure how it works – as far as I know, it’s a donation site? and people can use it to pay for commissions etc.? – and although I already accept commissions through Paypal I suppose it might be useful for the time being as I haven’t set up any commission stuff over here. I’d try and wait until my commissions were open again, but unfortunately, vet bills won’t pay themselves.
Feel free to give me a Ko-Fi and add a ship or a prompt and I might be able to write a drabble for it, or scream at me to update a fic lol, it’s not like I have much else to do without a job at the moment. Honestly, I dislike accepting donations unless I’m receiving it only to pass it on to someone else or to put towards another cause, so if you do decide to donate, I’d love to get a prompt or something so I can give something back in return!
So I’ve got problems with my tablet. With time these things wear out fast (especially cheaper models) and need constant replacement.
My tablet is giving me problems (it’s pretty much on it’s last breath, no cables or fidgeting helps), and while i am lending someone else’s tablet for a limited time to still finish current works.
Am opening April commissions (6 slots) and donation on KO-FI and Patreonfor a new tablet. u_u
