A final parting gift, from a friend he never stopped believing in.
Both @karma-the-skeleton and an anon requested this palette, one asking for Papyrus, the other for Asgore, so I decided to draw both in the same picture!
This went through a few different phases Originally papyrus was kneeling because he was being knighted, but i liked the idea of them sitting on the grass together looking at the sky, so I switched it to that. When I threw a slightly small hoodie on Papyrus purely for the aesthetic it reminded me of an idea I had for a Disbelief AU where Chara/Frisk decide to surrender after Papyrus tells them that even now, he still believes in them.
They eventually become the 7th soul required to break the barrier.
HOPEFULLY this isn’t too fast! I decided to make a papyrus tutorial because @jumpybox asked for one. It’s still a shitpost, just one with a lot more effort
Just a little blurb of inspiration. This will be an ongoing, I-get-to-it-when-I-get-to-it type fic, though it won’t actually be super long unless it runs away from me. Which I doubt will happen, but its mostly whatever.
