You really know how to elicit pain, Bourbon.
I love the contrast between this and your usual, happy art of them. Here we have dull colours, black and white, their expressions are more obscured (yet still say so much), the shots aren’t as close and intimate. Whereas with your fluff, we’re greeted with bright colours and warm smiles that really convey how much they love each other. Comparing those happier pieces with this just makes it even more painful ;-;
So @cheapbourbon did this gorgeous art right here (Look at it and WEEP, y’all!) And I saw it at like, I dunno, 3am my time because I am a chronic insomniac and it was my only second waking up for the night. And I was pretty much done sleeping after that.
My brain was allll about the aftermath and what happened next and oh, man, my heart.
Credit for this whole concept goes to @cheapbourbon. They post some of the very best artwork out there, not just for spicyhoney, but in general. Damn gorgeous stuff. So hopefully they will forgive me for adding this coda to their artwork. 🙂

this is just lovely and hurts so much it actually made me cry… the emotions are so raw and creeping knowlage that everything will never be as it was… This is a hell of a journey. Okay, other writers and artists can back me on this. There are two reactions you have to someone liking your angsty, painful story/art and you can have them both at the same time.

So. I’m going to level with you all. I got back from vacation and basically had my ass kicked at work. It was not a good week, and much of my motivation has been taken from me. Your support has meant more than you know, guys. Even if I haven’t answered your comment yet, it means so much to me.
Unfortunately, this means I will not have a proper chapter out for you guys. LC and CF are both mentally draining in a way that I am not up to right now.

I have a strange love for depressed Stretch–particularly when the Spicyhoney is established, because it makes for some great hurt/comfort.

Overview: Switch is used to being the master manipulator, so when he is forced to deal with someone who won’t be controlled easily he becomes a little antsy. Cash might not be an expert manipulator, but he can certainly tell when someone is trying to make him their puppet.
A/N: Just a little self-indulgent drabble to explore the Switched Money ship. I’m still trying to figure out their dynamics, but if one thing is certain, it’s that they would definitely have a lot of hate sex lmao. Hopefully, I can show off Switch being more manipulative in the future.
Yes, Sin. This was awesome. These two are not compatible–which is what makes them so much fun. I love mashing together two characters you’d least expect to get along and watching the chaos (and the hate sex cough) that ensues. This was delicious.
The first encounter
I’m not really proud of this one. I wanted to practise shadowing because I generally suck at it, but the final work turned out really bad, so here is the flat colour version for you all. I’m a bit sad, because I really tried to use shadows for this to give a certain darker vibe to it, but I guess I failed at it. Still, my friend insisted on me posting this to the point where she started using bribery. Can you tell I have good friends?
