Holding On – keelywolfe – Undertale (Video Game) [Archive of Our Own]

keelywolfe:

Summary: None of this was Stretch’s fault.

Really. It wasn’t.

Notes:

Blame Sia’s ‘Chandelier’ for this one. It hurts my soul a little and always makes me think of Stretch, who always laughs on the outside while he’s breaking on the inside.

But I’m holding on for dear life
Won’t look down, won’t open my eyes
Keep my glass full until morning light
‘Cause I’m just holding on for tonight

Summary

Edge did not sleep deeply

Notes and Warnings; please readFirst, there is no explicit non-con in this chapter or frankly, even mentioned. It’s only implied as something in the past. It’s still heavily implied, okay? Don’t read if this is going to hurt you.

Okay, so, normally I’m not bothered by my own writing. This story though, my mind wouldn’t let go. I needed something else. I’m not a huge fan of the ‘healing power of dick’ for rape recovery stories, but in this case, my own trauma required more. So here is more.

Ohhhh ;-; This was the best kind of comfort. I really needed this after part 1. These two are perfect for each other in these situations. ❤

FIC: While I’m Far Away From You

keelywolfe:

Summary: Stretch is Home Alone while all the other skellies are out diplomating. It’s super.

A prequel to the other stories in the series, by any other name You probably don’t have to read the other stories to understand this, but why wouldn’t you?

Notes:

Each night before you go to bed my baby
Whisper a little prayer for me my baby
And tell all the stars above
This is dedicated to the one I love

I agree with Bourbon’s reply–this is very bitter-sweet. I love seeing the deep connection between them, but you can really tell Stretch is hurting. I always find it difficult seeing Stretch suffer his depression alone. Even though he does still have Edge… it’s a little tougher for him. Lovely fic. (And great series!)
