@paintys-actual-art Lol, you guys.

6 – What’s the last thing you read that made you laugh?

Oh, geeze. I laugh at literally everything. I think it was probably a F/M/K by @alicedragons or @sansy-fresh. Either this one or this one, I think.

Though the literal last thing that made me laugh out loud was this response to my last ask from @ravvi-k:

7 – What’s the last thing you read that made you cry?

…Well. If I laugh at most things, then I cry at almost nothing. I… Aw, geeze. I honestly can’t remember? It was more than a year ago. Okay. How’s this instead—I’ll tell you what made me cry the absolute hardest?

Godslayer, Book II of the Sundering by Jacqueline Carey ( @deck-of-dragons – this is the book I was talking about). I cried for what must have been 2-3 hrs. All through the end of the book. Roughly 100 pages of crying. It was absolutely soul-crushing, but it’s an awesome, awesome duology.

This is going to sound cliche, because by now a lot of people have done this, but I’ve never seen it done so well, or done in a way that wasn’t meant as a quick gimmick or a joke—but the basic premise is viewing the classic “Lord of the Rings”-type plot from the villain’s perspective. Except the thing is…they’re not villains. Not even a little bit. Really, it’s a story about intolerance and allowing yourself to be blinded by hatred. It’s a damn tragedy is what it is

From this ask meme.

^^^^ The new thing I last laughed at.

And—excuse you, that is gross slander. How dare.
