Okay, but can we just imagine for a moment, that Asgore lets Papyrus keep Doomfanger in the castle with him? It would honestly be the best because Papyrus would be a lot happier having a friend with him, but not just that, I imagine that Fang would make life HELL for Asgore. 

• “Oh, what a lovely vase we have here on the shelf- oh no it’s now shattered on the floor, what a shame~”
• “What do you mean you didn’t want a furball in your mug?”
• “Those were your slippers? Oh, I thought it was the litterbox.”
• Fang constantly glaring and hissing at Asgore when they’re alone, but being the sweetest little angel for Papyrus. 
• “What a lovely cape we have here, I’m sure you won’t mind if I use this as a scratching post.” 
• Fang deliberately getting in the way whenever Asgore wants to get near Papyrus.
• PURRS AS LOUD AS A LAWNMOWER FOR PAP WHEN HE NEEDS ALL THE GOOD SUPPORT™. 
• Yowling in the middle of the night to keep Asgore up. 
• Crawling into bed when Asgore is trying to hold Paps, only for Fang to shove his way between them to curl up next to his skeleton. 
• Asgore kicking Fang out of the bedroom, only for the cat to somehow appear back inside again? And now it’s trying to sit on his face? Why is iT SCREAMING??
• Asgore trying to do the do, only to be disturbed by a cat staring at them intently “oh this is making you uncomfortable? why don’t I just keep staring.”
• Fang providing better aftercare purely because he offers Papyrus snuggles and affection. 
• Asgore is lowkey jealous? This piece of shit ugly cat is managing to make his life insufferable, while still getting more hugs from Papyrus than him? Is it even healthy to be jealous of a cat?? 
• Fang doesn’t quite grasp why Papyrus dislikes Asgore, but that doesn’t really matter, he’s going to go out of his way to make sure he annoys the crap out of him no matter the reason. 
• Fang keeps Papyrus company when Asgore is away or staying up late.
• He gives Papyrus something to do in this boring ass castle. 
• Gives him someone to love when Sans and Undyne can’t visit. 
• Fang doesn’t like Asgore, but he’s willing to put up with the old goat if it means he can make Papyrus happy.
