Kit’s notes: Fuck you, @ollie-oxen-free, this is great. The only reason I’m not re-titling this is because you explicitly told me not to. This is not only canon, it is so on-pointe I can’t help but adore it. The way your write Cash is just perfect. Especially his thoughts on Twist. I love it, and I will definitely be making use of that headcanon when I write more from Cash’s perspective.
Atypical Cash tries to adjust to life on land.

Just a little finflip loop of Siren Cash, a thought from the latest addition to @itsladykit‘s Atypical series, by @ollie-oxen-free
Short little thing for @itsladykit‘s Atypical series, and borrowed some inspiration on Rus’ design from @cheapbourbon‘s shipmas pic. Left it silent, because APPARENTLY scripts aren’t my thing XD Actually, figured that Pup, especially early on, would be fairly easy to upset, which would trigger a transformation. Depending on the amount of the upset, he MIGHT be able to run away, or he might attack/kill the source of the upset and THEN run away. Either way, poor guy wouldn’t feel all that good about losing control. Tried it with a bit of a script, but the pages just got bogged down with internal dialogue when the pictures were telling the story just fine ^_^
Twist is probably going to kill the source of the upset if Pup didn’t finish it off though XD
Edit – OH MY GOD, TUMBLR WHAT DID YOU DO TO THE QUALITY?? Hopefully it’s fixed now??
!!!!!!!!!
Aw, Ravvi!! This is amazing!!!! I love the way you showed Pup’s transformation—that is incredibly well done! I have to admit, I do think silence was a really good choice here too. You don’t need words to feel Pup’s pain, and Rus’ support and care just bleeds through the page.
Truly incredible work. Thank you so, so much! This is so lovely!!!

Edge/Pup – Atypical ‘verse
For @tealestmoon, who correctly guessed the symbolism present in “Lotus”.
Pure fluff. No warnings.

Edge found him outside, working on the garden. For a moment, he paused, just watching Pup. Then he went back inside. When he re-emerged, he was carrying a pair of mugs. “Hot chocolate?” he offered.
Seeing him, Pup paused and smiled, dusting off his hands. He walked over and took the mug from Edge’s hands. Warmth blossomed in Edge’s soul when Pup offered him a soft smile in return. Red magic heated his cheekbones—which, what the fuck, they’d been sleeping together for months now, why was he getting flustered over a smile?—and Edge started fussing over Pup to cover up his reaction.
“Ugh, look at you—you’ve covered in dirt. Have you been out here all day?” He brushed dirt from Pup’s shoulders and his hoodie. “This needs to be washed,” he muttered, “And your hands are frozen! It is much too cold to be working out here—and you need a pair of work gloves if—“
Pup laughed and slung an arm over Edge’s shoulders, kissing his cheek. The light flush on Edge’s cheekbones flared brighter, and he cleared his throat. “And now we’re both dirty.”
Leaning into him, Pup cuddled close. “it’s almost done,” he said, and he pointed to what he’d been working on all day. Edge eyed the garden appreciatively. Three raised beds and a neatly cleared space set behind them. Ready to be planted come spring. “i want to put up a fence, keep the animals out of the vegetable garden. gotta find something the guardian won’t mind, though.”
He nodded. “The guardian can be very selective.”
For a moment, they remained quiet, but Pup was starting to squirm. “d…do you like it? it’s, um, it’s for your kitchen. herbs and-and vegetables—“
Edge swallowed and squeezed Pup close, kissing him gently and scratching his coronal suture. “I love it,” he said. The warmth in his soul spread outward. “I…” He cleared his throat, uneasy sharing his feelings. “I still can’t believe you did all this just for…for me.”
Pup turned to meet his gaze, cupping Edge’s face in one hand. “you do so much for all of us,” he said, dropping his gaze as he lost courage. “you deserve a lot more than just….”
Edge reached up, lacing their fingers together. “Thank you,” he said, “I couldn’t ask for better.” Violet magic flushed Pup’s cherkbones and they leaned into each other, cuddled close. “Now let’s get you inside—you’re covered in dirt and nearly frozen solid.”
“you gonna warm me up, precious?” Pup asked cheekily.
Edge chuckled and kissed him again. “I certainly intend to try.”

My take on Cash the siren, from @itsladykit‘s “Atypical” series.
After the latest update I can’t help but imagine him in prior glory, from Twist’s POV
I think it would be cute if all of the tail holders in atipical stuck bows on their tails. Actually it would be super funny if they stuck a bell on Twist and or Pup in doggo form so they could hear them coming. Now I’m thinking off puppy paws and claws making skittering noises across hard wood floors in excitement. X3
Edge stared hard at Twist. “No,” he said flatly.
Twist looked at him, putting his hands behind his back. “Mornin’, sweetheart. Wha’s goin’ on, huh?” he asked, smiling innocently.
“Twist, no. He’s a werewolf. Stop trying to treat him like a dog.”
“Aw, c’mon, Edge—look at ‘im!” He stepped aside, so Edge could properly see the shoulder-high wolf skeleton with a collar around his neck and a bow on his tail. His wagging tail. “See? He likes it!”
Edge sighed, massaging the spot above his nasal ridge. “He’s a werewolf, you crazy dragon—not a lapdog or a house pet. You can’t take him to a damn dog park.”
“But he’s better now! He hasn’ even eaten anybody in more’n a year!” Twist protested. He brought his hands forward, revealing the leash he’d been hiding behind his back.
“patently untrue!” Rus said as he came down the hall, “ate me out two nights ago.” He scratched along the werewolf’s jawline. “didn’t you?” he asked, his voice changing pitch and tone. “yes you did! who’s a good boy? yes, you are. yes, you are!”
Edge sighed heavily and made his way back down the hall, grumbling about living with a pair of morons. “You can walk him around the house!” he finally yelled, “No dog parks!”
“Yer no fun anymore!”
When you can picture an author’s character in your head with a single line, then you know that author is good.
The first line got me laughing so hard. That situation is Edge’s life, basically ahahahaha
Poor Edge.
“Twist, no.”
“Rus—stop that!”
“What the fuck are you doing you overgrown lizard!?”
“Rus, get off—“
“i’m trying, but you won’t hold still.”
^^^^ His life in a nutshell.
I couldn’t get this out of my head… sooo..
!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is an excellent addition! I fully approve!

Good day, I was thinking of @itsladykit’s Atypical where Stretch is an incubus and Edge is a vampire
*(Forgot to add the story should go from Unconventional → Triple Time → Atypical to make sense
Aw! It’s actually kind of perfect that you drew Incubus Stretch and Vampire Edge—Atypical was originally based on the Spicyhoney Vampire/Succubus AU created by @tsukasazushi (I think?). I’m on mobile, or I’d link some of their drawings. @cheapbourbon is the one that introduced me to the AU, and their ExpensiveSpicyHoneyDog art is what inspired me to include more of the Papyrus-es.
So this is entirely appropriate and absolutely gorgeous! Your art is always so lovely—I really adore your style—and knowing I’ve inspired this piece made my day. ^_^
so, does Atypical werewolf Slim have a knotted dick? ;D ;D ;D (sorry, I’m v tired) (and this was going to be ‘does atypical cash bone down with the rest’ but I guessed that’s spoilers)
Ooooh. Okay. This honestly is turned into a general “Weird things about the Atypical boys’ naughty bits” post. So, beneath the cut—
Atypical: Old growth
Pup can feel something watching from the woods. Something ancient.
Twist wants to introduce them.

Warning for: off-screen violence, minor character death, and major character death. A more detailed trigger warning (containing spoilers) is included in the endnotes of the AO3 link.
This was so beautifully written. It had such a calming atmosphere, and the way you described the scenery of the forest really set the mood so well.
But also–baby dragon!!!
