This is the best thing. For one, your Stretch and Slim are lovely! Stretch’s freckles are precious, and I love the expression on Slim’s face. (Your skeles are really sexxxxy.) And then of course–GIANT JACKET. That’s the best part.
Was having a bit of trouble visualizing how Siren!Cash from @itsladykit‘s Atypical series looked, so I pestered Kit about her HC’s for him and then sketched this up ^_^
For reference, he doesn’t have the typical mermaid tail – the description I was working off of was (adlibbed) ‘more crocodilian with a thick, muscular tail and fins along his limbs, violet, pearlescent ectoflesh with webbing between his fingers, and lots of jewelry.’ This would have been before he had the accident that left him with (among other spoilery things) an eyepatch. Hope you like him Kit!
This piece is actually amazing. I’ll admit, I’ve also had trouble envisioning him in the past, but all the gorgeous art has helped paint a picture of him in my head. And this is just beautiful. His tail and fins look incredible. Gorgeous siren boy.

To celebrate, I’m going to share some of my favorite fics that I’ve read recently and hopefully, you guys can give them some love and appreciation too! Fanfiction writers work hard to publish their content, and deserve to feel like all their effort is worth it. I wish that I could rec all the brilliant authors in this fandom, but unfortunately my fanfic reading has been kinda slacking this year haha. Every piece of fanfiction in this fandom is truly amazing, but these are the most memorable to me.
The thing that struck the most with me about this fic, is the pure, tooth-rotting fluff between Grillby and Papyrus. As someone who absolutely adores cultural differences and misunderstandings, Maid by the Sea really made me squeal and splash water everywhere as I read this in my bathtub. It felt like the perfect fic to read in there lol. Papby isn’t a ship that I follow too often, but I absolutely loved this piece of work.
Wooo okay first off, let me start out by praising this author for being the hero of the Purple Swapfell fandom. With the whole drama about Swapfell names and Purple Swapfell being lesser known (though it’s definitely on the rise), it’s hard to find a fic that has me feeling so many conflicting emotions as this one. KH Swapfellcest is hard to find, but this fic had me biting my nails over Papyrus’s sexual tension, but also tremendous pity for his position. I don’t want to spoil so I won’t reveal much, but seeing him take on clients and the effects of it makes me want to hold him and protect him from the world. I have no idea how I feel about Sans yet, but I am deeply intrigued by the nature of their relationship and how it will develop. Because this fic is ongoing, I am excited to read more!
I’m going to admit I’m a bit biased with this one because I’m the one who requested it. Still that just gives me all the more reason to express my love. What I loved most about Puppy’s Pet is how good and pure Slim is! There are many different kinds of characterizations for him, but what always makes my heart melt are the ones that are so loving and caring, without being too overbearing. To be honest, I never fully understood the emotional impact for collaring, until I read this. I’ve always seen a collar as a tool to pull and showcase submissiveness, but this fic has opened my eyes and shined a whole new light on it. It’s intriguing and so sweet, that I had to put my phone down and bury my face in my pillow several times before I could move on.
Another Swapfell fic that I can’t even think of words to express how much I loved this. I already have a weak spot for Swapfell, but PUPPYBERRY? Yes, gosh, fuck me up. What I liked about this was that it didn’t just focus on Rust (sf pap) and Lapis (us sans), but how their brothers felt about it too. I was angry with Stix (us pap) throughout the first chapter and I cannot express the triumph I felt during the confession. Not to mention, my surprise at Crim’s (sf sans) reaction as well. I completely misjudged him, and I’m so glad that I was wrong. I’m really happy with how this fic ended unexpectedly, and in my opinion, it’s so much cuter and sweeter that it ended the way it did.
Okay this is an older fic, but my dudes, I have a weakness for lactation kinks, you don’t understand. The author executed this perfectly, combined with the sweetness and glow of new parents. I died when Sans took care of his brother, in ways that he needed caring. He was responsive to what Papyrus needed and I could feel the genuine love that they had for each other. The smut is also the cherry on top.
Another slightly older fic, but the one word in the tags that got my attention? Boobs. Well specifically “boob fuck” but still. I’m a big bisexual so when I saw this fic combined two of my favorite things – boobs and spicyhoney- I had to immediately jump on it, and I’m so glad I did. I adored Stretch in this fic, and how assertive he was. Even though Edge was topping, Stretch definitely in charge of the situation, and that’s rare to find with this pairing.
Ah yes. Tug of War. The fic that kept me up all night. I remember when I finished, I was tossing and turning, still reeling over the emotional rollercoaster that I just couldn’t get off of. Kedgeup was my first ever fontcest ship, and to actually read written content of it, made me so darn happy. I loved how protective Edge was of Sans, and how he only wanted to help. The fluff brought me to the clouds, and the angst broke me. This fic will always stay dear to my heart.
Yes, out of all the amazing works by Deck, *cough*, my personal favorite being Swapfell Sans Suffers *cough* I chose to put the vore unbirth on this list. Don’t get me wrong, I judge no one for their kinks, but vore as well as unbirth were never in my area, and they’re still not. But as I read this fic, I couldn’t look away. I was pulled in, wanting to know more and more, and I loved every second of it. The writer wrote this in a way that peaked my curiosity, and when it was over, I was left more satisfied than I could ever imagine.

In conclusion, I really love Swapfell.
But really though, all these fanfics are great, and everyone should check them out. I’m distraught that I can’t feature every work on here, and that this list isn’t that long, but as I mentioned before, this year has been slow on reading for me. As the fandom continue to grow, and writers produce more content, I’m looking forward to another fanfiction year of creativity and imagination!

Yeah, so they were hoping for a drabble based around that awesome, and I’ll admit, I was a little afraid of trying it. i love that AU and I was having a serious ‘I’m not worthy’ moment. But then my brain started going on it, and I gave it a shot. I have to say, I think I like how it turned out. So enjoy!
I’m so glad I finally got around to reading this. God, you tease. I need more of this so badly. (More of this entire AU, honestly). This was both sweet and exhilarating. Edge is terrifying, but… I’m with Rus. Not completely unappealing either.
