The second instalment of my ‘skeletons in life’ project, one in which I draw our beloved skeles in clothes that place them in a modern context. So here we have Edge looking very pedestrian in my joggers, sliders and tank top. Unfortunately I don’t own a durag or cross necklace but I added them to complete the look. I feel the bones and tank top have the best shading.

I did this because I always see Edge portrayed as this uptight, highly egotistical and arrogant royal guard captain… I feel his character isn’t that 2D so now that he’s in my clothes he’s also a super chilled and salty artistic individual.

IT’S THA TOMATO BROS YO (͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Ok so remember how I posted my list of nicknames for various characters and how Edge and Red had a second pair of nicknames which was LT and BT? and how I didn’t say what it stood for? well… TADA~ the answer is that it stands for Little Tomato and Big Tomato! 😀 which came to be because Red is round and thanks to his red turtleneck looks like a tomato, so as the big brother and because he is round he be Big Tomato, and Edge is Little Tomato as he is Red’s younger brother and as it is shortened to LT which is often what lieutenant is shortened to and stuff

Really like how this turned out tho even though the lines ended up messy as I wasn’t really trying to make them look good, made this as I needed to draw something while listening to TaZ and since I have wanted to draw this for awhile why not finally do it? So, like I said before the lines are a bit of a mess but that’s the usual, I like how the colouring turned out as I did most of the colouring in SAI, only colouring I didn’t is Edge’s blush, the background and smoke, was a fun challenge, really like how the tomatoes turned out on the shirt, the smoke looks really good too decided to make it red for some reason which makes it look pretty cool, Red’s face didn’t turn out that bad either, Edge’s face turned out a bit meh thanks for me not adding his eyes and shit and also covering it with his hand, not sure if I like how Red’s scars on his arms turned out as I haven’t fully designed them yet so will prolly end up drawing them differently next time I draw him showing his arms, but overall I really like how this turned out as this is something I have been wanting to draw for quiet some time!

Edge actually really like the shirts he’s just a tad bit embarrassed about wearing it in public, especially with his brother who is teasing him about it as Red knows that Edge do like the shirts and who is also about to pick up his phone to snap some photos of his adorable bro as after all Edge is way too cute when he is flustered like this <:

While I’m not a fan of Sanscest in general, I think maybe part of the reason I’m so averse to Kustard is because of how popular it is. I’m a little shit who hates jumping on the bandwagon and will probably go out of my way to “dislike” something just because of its popularity. But, in addition to that, I really just don’t see these two working. (I’m really sorry, Kustard lovers!)
