Fell twisted around, soul in his throat as
he heard those words. He stared at Stretch, who stood grinning in the doorway.
Doomfanger rested in his arms – they’d finally learnt to tolerate each other. Fell
stared at his boyfriend. His eyes slid down on Stretch’s stomach as he thought of
their late-night activities. Mostly horror, but also something like joy, spread
out in his chest. His face felt pale, cold, as he stared at the other. Sure, he’d
like to have kids one day, but not so
soon.
Stretch met his eyes for a moment. Then his
eyes widened, and he let out a loud snort. He held up the cat. “Not you,
edgelord. Doomfanger. He’s preggers.”
Exhaling loudly, Fell rubbed his forehead. Another
litter to take care of. They were adorable, of course, but it was hard to find good
homes too them. The knot in his stomach loosened. With a relieved laugh, he walked
up to his boyfriend, embracing both him and the cat.
“Now again, huh?” he murmured, scratching the
cat behind his ear. Doomfanger purred loudly as Stretch snorted again. An
embarrassed blush rose on Fell’s cheeks, making the other laugh.
“Stars, I love you, asshole,” he muttered.
Fell rolled his eyes, but pressed a kiss to
the top of Stretch’s head. “I love you too, jackass. Almost as much as I love Doomfanger.”

Notes: I had surgery today (I’m fine, but thank you!) and I’m drugged to the gills. I didn’t want to work on any actual stories that I’d have to fix later, but I wanted something fluffy and cuddly. So I made my own. Enjoy!
The cheerful skeleton went along, removing each of their collars as he whistled a little diddy, putting each deactivated collar in a pouch hooked to his belt. Once he was finished he stood, stepping back and clapping his hands once as he grinned. “What say we get you off this ship then?”
Aw, wow! Thank you so much. The Bonechelor can be a bit difficult for me sometimes, since I have to give all characters equal time in the spotlight (I… kind of failed with that in the last chapter), but I always enjoy making my skeletons get up to shenanigans and nonsense.
And I’m so happy you liked Safe. It was a very comforting fic for me to write.
