i really like the advice “write marginalized characters but don’t write about marginalization unless you experience it” 

absolutely i think cis people should expand their horizons and write trans characters, but they shouldn’t write stories about being trans. likewise i think allistic / NT authors should write about autistic characters! but not stories about being autistic. 

represent us. absolutely. but don’t tell our stories. let us do that.

This is an excellent way of exploring/explaining that division, which is hard to express succinctly. Brilliant. 👏🏼

Same here, I absolutely love your work. I often reread your happier things if I’m feeling kinda down because its just so well writen that it makes me happy again because the characters are happy(your hurt comfort is bomb for this). I’m able to feel what the characters feel because you word it so well. That’s how good it is, keep doing what youre doing, love ♡

Hurt/comfort is my favourite to write. Getting the emotions right can be a bit challenging, so this is just insanely flattering to hear. That’s exactly what I strive for when writing emotional scenes.

You always amaze me with these fics, and I wish I was exaggerating bc you are playing with my emotions embarrassingly easy. Like, goddamm, my skin was crawling all the time while Muffet “played” with Edge on the bed and I swear I wanted to hug Rus So much for saving Edge. Just…a fantastic piece as always!

Aww, man. That is really great to hear. I’ll be honest, that chapter was a dick to write. I’m really glad it came through–especially the Muffet part. That was what I had the most difficulty with. And it was so quenching for my thirsty ass to finally be able to write Edge and Rus just–hugging. I needed it, badly.
