âAre you cold?â Fell stepped down the first stair, a large quilt in his hands. Honey simply stared off into the distance, arms wrapped around his knees, tucked into his chest. Pushing away his worry, Fell gently wrapped the quilt around Honeyâs shoulders, pulling it close over his chest and tucking it in firmly.Â
Sitting down beside him, Fell ignored the cold of the concrete that seeped into his thin night pants. Honey was still shivering, teeth chattering gently. Sighing, Fell slowly moved over, putting his arm around Honeyâs shoulders and pulling him close as the tears began to fall.
âIts alright. Its okay to cry, Iâm right here.â As Honey began to sob, Fell pulled him ever closer. He wasnât going anywhere.
