Here. Have an idea.

I can’t quite call this a headcanon, ‘cause I don’t think Pap is this vindictive…but I keep playing with this idea, and I’m probably never going to use it. So, here—you guys take it.

Papyrus knows his spaghetti is awful. He can see it in Sans’ face, in Undyne’s—though, in fairness, Undyne’s spaghetti is much worse—but he is waiting. Waiting for someone to be honest with him. Waiting for someone to treat him like a damn adult. For someone to realize that his ego isn’t that fragile.

(Until then, he’ll let them choke on it.)

@audaciousanonj had an idea where he learns how to make really good spaghetti, but he serves the bad Undyne-style kind to Sans and Undyne and everyone who pretended to like it.  If they ask to try the spaghetti he gives Flowey, he’s like “BUT YOU /SAID/ YOU LIKE THIS KIND”

What about a less malicious version of this, like.

Papyrus knows his spaghetti tastes awful. He doesn’t understand why Sans, Undyne, etc. enjoy the taste of it, but who is he to judge! All palates are appreciated and accepted.

This (somehow) made the rounds…and it got so much better. @themanicmagician Headcanon accepted.
